I've been traveling through Europe for the past few months, and it's very apparent where you go for tall men:
Copenhagen Airport - Tall guy after tall guy after tall guy. I was only there for a 2-hour layover, but I'll be going into the city in two weeks. At 5'9", I felt miniscule. Everyone was towering over me.
Brussels, Belgium - In under an hour, I saw two men 7' tall or close to it and a guy about 6'8".
Gent, Belgium - In a single narrow street where there was a summer food event going on, I saw someone 6'6", 6'8", and two at 6'10". This was a time span of less than an hour as well.
You read the articles that tell you the Dutch are the tallest people in the world at an average male height of 6'. I was pleasantly surprised by how noticeable it was! I am excited to be staying in this area of the world for a little while longer...
