Can't remember where I saw it - but this photo was a favourite of mine.

There were a few photos in the set, and in it was a short police officer talking to a very tall man and one of the photos shows the police officer standing on his car to be the same height as the other man.

If anyone has the photos, I would love to see them posted on the board or in a personal message!

    Thanks

Thanks for those. Are we thinking these are real pictures, or edits?

That is in Bozeman, MT. Unless I'm mistaken, I'd recognize those mountains anywhere.

Bozeman, Montana?? How strange is this, that I as a German 1st read about this town today in a Carl Hiiasen book and read about this here again a few hours later?? :)

Looks real. But who is taking a picture of a cop giving a sobriety test? This action would definitely not be allowed here in South Carolina.

Legally in the U.S. one is allowed to record police actions from public places if they do not interfere with an arrest/detainment or police activities. This means one can record from some distance away but still in earshot. Realistically the police don't like to be recorded but it *is* legal to do so. Sometimes it's enough to simply back off a little but mileage varies depending on jurisdiction, officer, and nature of the incident.

The real thing that gives this away as a setup is the "cop" standing on his car. A real officer in official duties wouldn't do that even for a tall guy. lol Those were some hot images, regardless.

I like your response. It makes sense that a real cop would not put himself in the awkward position of standing on the hood of his car.
    Thanks

That's a Utah Highway Patrol patch on his shoulder. Close enough I guess?
