why would it ?
i can be a real asshole sometimes too bacause of all the shit i sometimes get from regular people, and then it happens that a nice person walks up with an innocent height comment, and i send him to hell verbally because i have been pushed to the limit that day and then comes off as "the asshole". it doesnt happen often and im not proud of it, but it do happen.

It's the equivalent of someone pointing out a physical feature about you that's blatantly obvious like "wow you have a large nose" or something similar almost all the time. It'd get irritating and get on your nerves. I now never point out the "you're tall" or ask "how tall are you?" to people who are vertically gifted, even to the 2 giants at work when I first met them because I knew they wouldn't want to hear it.

yeah the thing about height is that everyone thinks its a possitive thing, so they dont mind blurting it out, and it is possitive in alot of ways too, its just the repeat after repeat as you point out, that makes me want to hit something or someone(havent yet for that reason, thank god)
