Interesting read. You never realize all the hassles really tall people go through. That is why I like my height, 5'10". Everything is designed for around my height. Incrediblty average.
I am Dutch, and I feel rather small nowadays. Believe it or not, I can relate to some things, eventhough quite opposite. Like clothes with arms and legs too long, it's getting harder to get shoes at the right size, shelves in supermarkets too high(although some nice tall guys help me out on that 
) and standing in the crowd of a concert surrounded by human skyscrapers, nice but not where I came for in the first place. Could go on longer, but I think lots of you would like to trade...

The tallest men live in the north Friesland and Groningen. In Amsterdam there are a lot tourists so if you want to meet real Dutchies you should go to Rotterdam Utrecht or other big cities. I live near Rotterdam.
