Height Difference Taller than the rest of the family

Hey everyone, I’m 208cm / 6'10 now, but a lot of that height came during a late growth spurt after my high school graduation, when I was around 190cm / 6'3", so the change feels pretty drastic sometimes. My dad is 6'3" / 190cm, but no one else in my family comes as close to my height and it's still quite a difference.

Has anyone else ended up much taller than their family? What was it like for you guys?

My parents re much shorter than myself, I had a late growth spurt and reach 6'3 from 5'6. It was weird at the beginning but I like being tall and tower.

I come from a short family. My grandpa was 5'3". My dad was the tallest of his family at 5'8". I have 3 older brothers who are 5'7" to 5'8". I'm 6'1 and 230 pounds. Nobody else is over 150 pounds so I'm not only taller but bigger too. It was awesome passing them up at about age 12-13. I used to be their punching bag but that stopped! LOL

I am the tallest amongst immediate family; unfortunately, I do t get the crown among all my cousins.

Though it’s funny. I’m nearly 40, yet my aunts all think I’m still getting taller.

I'm 6'10
Dad = 6'6
Mom = 5'6

Me too ! Dad was 6’2 and Mum is 5’9 - I was Dads height at 13 and ended up at 7ft by age 16

Hello BigFoot, my church choir was the guest choir at the Bristol Cathedral in early August. I was supposed to go but had a medical issue that kept me from going. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was a great experience for our choir. Is there another way to communicate with you?
