He's David Miscavige the super rich, super handsome super short little midget that runs this homophobic international scam operation. If you want an example of the Napoleon Complex look no further. He is known for beating his staff, making relatives disappear permanently and forcing executives to lick bathroom floors for half an hour? He even trained Tom Cruise to beat people up.
So what does a short guy do when he has absolute power? He commissions a song about how great it is to be tall!
And he has them build a teeny weeny podium that makes him look just the right height. You'll see it briefly in this video at the beginning when he says "Good Night."
This elaborate production number is worthy of an Oscar telecast and was shot in the same theatre. From the 2009-2010 New Year celebration at the Shrine Auditorium. Featuring a large supporting cast of non-Whites hired especially for the occasion.
