I can't gain weight

Hi everyone, I'm 16 years old and I'm 5ft 11. I weigh 115lb and my weight is gradually decreasing even though I eat a lot. Most days I eat about 3000 calories sometimes 4000 and I have 6 weetabix for breakfast. I also don't exercise. Can someone please give me advice on how to gain weight and get fatter because I'm struggling and I can feel myself getting skinnier and I can now put both my hands around my waist because I'm so thin. Everyone's telling me to eat more and I'm fed up of hearing it! Thanks for any advice.

well you look too under weight for the amount of calories you take...........i recommend 1st you do stool analysis to exclude the presence of fungi or any kind of parasites in your GIT....then do thyroid hormone analysis T3.T4.TSH to exclude any thyroid gland over function.....

If you really eat that much and don't gain weight you should go see a doctor asap.

I've been to the doctors and they said it was because I was still growing...

Bigger than your torso
I have to agree with mahmoudyaseen.

If you were overweight (e.x obese) ... they certainly wouldn't say "he's still growing".
Being underweight isn't healthy. Especially if you are still growing (brain, muscle, etc developing)

But this doesn't sound like your fault. Please try to see a Nutritionist. They are different from doctors and have extensive knowledge that a doctor may not be aware of . :)

Thank you for posting & asking for help.

Try taking weight gainers...they are made for skinny people needing extra calories to gain muscle mass/weight. It's a great source of protein and added calories. I use it when I'm working out, cause I've always struggled to put on weight when hitting the gym.
