Last Saturday I went to the biggest amusement park of the Netherlands, The Efteling. It was the last day of Summer Efteling which means longer opening hours and special entertainment. These theme periods especially in summer are very popular and thus lots of people. Mostly Dutch Belgian Germans and some British too. It’s always my favourite time to go there as the chance of meeting above average tall guys is extremely high. To give an indication I’ve encountered 20 men over 7 foot and the rest in between average and 7 foot. Sure there were some shorties like me ( I’m 5’8 ft/ 1,73 m). The only thing that I find less positive is that Dutchmen have relatively small feet for their height. Nonetheless I was lucky to get close to some ‘Bigfooters’ while queuing for the rollercoasters and theme rides and such. A few giants where at work, like the guy who took up the orders in a theme restaurant (Kashba, 1001 night) who was lanky and way over 7 feet with a baritone voice or a young guy sweeping and cleaning at the Summer Beach ( for the kids) who at a distance looked like a normal guy but when average height people passed by you could see he was enormous (and well proportioned). I was with family so could not take any pics, but hey if I want tall guys I just go shopping on a Saturday! The best places are the ones with less tourists ( Amsterdam is a bad giant sighting city)
Anyone of the Dutch guys on this site share my experience?

Yes, 7 ft and over. The Efteling is very crowded on days like that, easily 25.000 people on 1 day. Dutch youngsters are, if I estimate, about 6’3 in height ( I use my 6’1 son as comparison, he says he’s short like me lol) and a lot of men and some women dwarf them.

I wanted to run into a tall teen or college student, they think it funny or cool they run into a short American. They bear hug me, pick me up, put me on their lap, and carry me a bit. I have to look up at one to kiss.
