I’m 5’8" and I am used to being short. It’s special if you meet someone shorter here in the Netherlands.

I only saw a few tall guys in Amsterdam. Try going to Belgrade instead sometime. I would see at least one 7 footer each day

I'm jealous Caliber about you're going to the Netherlands. Wish I could go! Would love to haunt the streets at night looking for tall men. Please make an effort to take photos and videos of a few of the giants you spot.

I was in Amsterdam for four weeks already this summer. I saw an insane amount of tall guys. Guys hovering around 6’6” are a dime a dozen, and I saw a handful taller than that.

The areas that are more Dutch and less immigrants, and some areas more north, you might find more taller people than the more diverse or the Catholic/southern areas. And yes, in the western Balkans in the Dinaric Alps area of much of Serbia, Montenegro, and parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia, one will find even more frequent and even taller guys, but it's really regionally delineated there as there are also average to even shorter populations in the Balkans.
South Sudan might be the tallest country as a whole if there was a sufficient amount of measurements, but there's still too much strife for that to happen for a while. The Nilotic region is probably the tallest in the world, yet the Pgymies, the smallest people, are also not far from there. Senegal also has very tall subpopulations.

I just went out today. It's a large mix of average and tall.

I saw many guys around 6'5, one seven footer.

I ran into some Dutch students at a hotel and drank with them. One claimed to be 6'1 and the other 5'11. They were both eye level to me at 5'9.

Another was actually 6'2. I was standing on a step about his height. He was surprised and then realized I had a boost. He grabbed me by the hip and picked me up then set me down just to remind how short I was. He liked lifting a shorter American.
