Blocking posts?

General question
Is there any way to block posts by specific people? I'm glad that individuals are contributing but I typically click "new posts" to see any updates, and find myself sifting through old threads being brought up by the same members, just adding random comments. Is this an available feature for the board?

The only option is to ignore the user. It will make the username "Ignored member" instead of showing their name..

Visit their profile, and in the top right, there is an "ignore" option

I was thinking the same thing. I hate it when topics I don't follow pollute the new posts list at this rate. Normally I have one page to go through, now it's gone up to 4

So interesting economics question. Are pointless messages an externality for an individual's gain of trophy points?

I've sent the 2 main people a private message asking them nicely to keep contributions to active threads that are less than 1 month old. Hopefully they'll understand

@loststar i think forum admin should be able to "silence" non contributing post or infract them, two of the member already bring back too much unnecessary post from the past.
