Tired of being shorter than my dad and brothers

This is something of a rant so forgive me if this is an inappropriate place for it.

I know given my age and that I'm still growing, it's silly for me to complain about being shorter that my dad and older brothers. (Currently, I'm 6'4" and my dad and 2 older brothers are all 6'9".) But I'm just really tired of waiting to grow taller than them even though I know I will. I guess I'm writing this in the hope that a few people here get what I'm saying. Anytime I try to express my frustration I get responses like, "But you're so tall and still growing" or "But you're predicted to end up way taller than them" or "But you're so strong" or "But you're taller/bigger/stronger than lots of adult men already".

I just really want to become a giant and tower over my guys like my dad and brothers. I don't know if anyone has anything to say, but thanks for reading.

As the "baby" of my family, I do know your pain in that being smaller / shorter is no fun, but fortunately as time passes usually so does the the smaller and shorter. I know that does not help you now, but mother nature is a mean lady. Just look on the positive side and think of all the folks you are already taller than. But make sure you treat them well, since you know how they feel.

Your post made me think back to my childhood. I was the youngest (next oldest brother is 7 years older). So my brothers were always a lot bigger than me. They are not as tall as your family though. My Dad and 1 brother are 5'8" and the other 2 brothers are twins and are 5'7". I never had any idea I could be bigger and taller than them until I was 11 and I had bigger feet than they did (not hard to do since they only wear size 8). People said I was going to be tall since I had big feet. My brothers were always skinny and I was stocky. I actually passed them up in weight at about age 12. They were 130 lbs and I was 138 at the point we realized I weighed more. So by 13 I had caught up to them in height. I wasn't the little brother anymore! No more beatings! I was probably about 160 then and I could lift them up in a bear hug. By the time I graduated high school, I was 6'1" and 230 lbs. I literally outweighed them by 100 lbs. It was great being the biggest brother then.

You are going to be 14 in April. You should find out how tall your brothers were at your age. When did they reach their full height? What is their shoe size? If their feet are smaller than your size 15, that is a good indicator that you may outgrow them. Are your hands bigger than theirs? If so, that is another good sign. It is great that you want to be really tall. I hope your dad and brothers end up only reaching your chin.

That was interesting to hear how before you graduated from high school you were now the biggest brother in size but still the youngest one in age. I can see you extracting some revenge on your siblings for the beatings that you took from them. I envision you lifting them in a bearhug, one by one and crush them into oblivion, then stack them into a tidy pile, on ontop of the other and sit on them while you play your Play Station. :)

You should have bearhugged them, one by one, and then stack them into a tidy pile and sit on them and play your Play Station for a few hours.
