Last night I was buying some furniture. The desk I bought was in several boxes, (presumably to make them easier to transport, ) and were strapped together making the bundle really heavy. I was struggling to lift it onto a cart when another customer, a tall guy came up behind me and offered to help. I accepted and figured he would take one end and I the other. He reached around it and picked up the whole thing like it was nothing. He was pretty tall, at least 6-4. He didn't look like he would be nearly as strong as he was. I was awestruck. Has anyone else had any experiences like this? I felt like I could have been a toy in his hands.

This is more on the other side of the story. I'm not too tall (6'1") but I do weigh 230. I have a fairly new neighbor. He's from India. When I first met him, he asked how tall I was and how much I weighed so I asked him in return. He's 5'2" and 110 pounds. I'd swear he must have to buy his clothes in the kids department, but I don't want to ask. I feel like a giant standing next to him.

Well, about 1/2 an hour ago, there's a knock at the door and there he is. He bought a bookcase from Ikea (I think) and needed some help getting it out of the car. He kept saying, it took 2 guys to load it into the car at the store. We get down to his car and it's laying on the back seat. I reach in and slide it out. He reaches to help me and I lift it up and put it on my shoulder. His eyes got really big. I think it probably only weighed 75 pounds or so. It wasn't really that heavy. I know a lot of stores make 2 guys help with carry outs to avoid one guy getting hurt. I said, "Where do you want it Anil?" The look on his face was priceless. I wish I had a picture of it.

i dont know if this counts, but i used to be pretty serious elite rower. and then i participated in this competetion called Nordic open. i was 17 then and participated as a junior A(17-18years) on a 2km distance indoor rowing. i won the race but the fun part was that i was faster than the winner of the senior B(19-23years) heat. so on that day i felt pretty damn strong haha.
