I’m not too sure where to actually post this but I need to know if anyone else has gone through something similar. See, I’m 22 and I’m shrinking. I used to be 179cm, so like 5’10”, and I’m now 162cm so not even 5’4”. These are both morning measurements and everything else seems bigger too. My spine is still as straight as it ever was. All my clothes seem longer and I’ve even dropped a shoe size.

Has anyone else shrunk?

Yep. I'm 20 and used to be 5'6" but now 5'4". I have lost a lot of weight - intentionally and that may have had something to do with it. I think my shoe size is about the same. Seems like it always depends on the brand of shoe because I might take anywhere from a 7 to an 8 1/2.

How are you handling it? I’m still not totally comfortable with the idea of being a short guy. Has anyone said anything to you about it?

I have also lost a lot of weight. I used to be pretty heavy for my height. Now I am pretty skinny. People see the weight loss and don't usually notice that I have also lost 2 inches in height.

I understand we naturally shrink as we age, but if you really desire to be shorter, it will happen. Posture, nutrition, weight and attitude all affect one's height.
