I'd love to hear stories from people that traveled around US States or Europe or other countries where they noticed a difference in how much taller the people in that place are..
The dutch seem to be agreed upon that are the most all online, although I know many people that traveled to Amsterdam and only one mentioned that the people there are tall, maybe because they don't notice it like us lol
I've been to 80-something countries, and I can confirm that the Dutch are very tall. The first time I arrived at Schipol Airport (April 2016), I instantly felt short at 5'9" and no longer "average." It was quite a shocking experience.
During my two weeks, I saw many people who towered over me. It was not uncommon to spot guys around the 6'6"-6-10" range, but the tallest guy was 7'3"! He was thin as a rail and his height was dizzying. If you want to plan a trip to see as many tall guys as possible, I recommend going around King's Day and Liberation Day. The more people outside, the higher your probability of running into giants.
I went back to the Netherlands again last November. I didn't see quite as many tall guys, but it was largely because of the cold weather keeping many people indoors. I did hook up with one who is 7', though. We surprisingly connected really well. I stayed at his place and got to experience being in a giant's home. Can you imagine hanging your bag of travel toiletries above the door frame? Or a shower head that's so high you can't reach it?
I'm going back there for a month soon and can't wait!!!
