This might sound weird to some, but I am 6'2.5" and wear lifts and elevators to get myself to around 2m (over 6'6"). I wonder if anyone else on here that's tall does the same sort of thing. I once mentioned this on another height site, giving my e-mail address, making clear I had done this for some years, and loads of tall guys wrote to say they would either like to know how to get taller or that they already do it to some degree. I actually met up with one guy in Germany who is 6'5" and now wears 5" elevators. I am jealous of course!

I myself used to only use lifts as all the elevators were crap till the last few years, but now there is much better stuff on the market I wear elevators as well a lot (and supplement them with lifts!).

By all means message me if you want advice on it, or want to talk privately. But I am just interested to know if it's a thing with anyone else. What is weird is that because you are tall, simply no-one ever notices, either that you are taller or that you might be adding height. I guess it is counter-intuitive for most to think that guys in the top percentiles of height will want to make themselves much taller. I find the dominance over others really gives me a buzz. And I find generally that nowadays other guys really want to be as tall as poss, specially younger guys. I work in nightclubs and being around 2m enhanced I know from the response that others really wanna be that tall and more. That is very different than when I was in my teens (I am 35). Then there was a kinda cutoff point around 6'5/6'6" and anyone else would have been considered too tall. Now, young guys seem to all wanna be seriously tall, and are envious of others who are.

Very hot, I had a friend in college about your height. Loved going out with him in boots. He also would stand a step above me often. So hot for a guy to take me from average to short and see how much he is enjoying looking down.

i didnt know this was a thing for tall guys too, i allways try to wear as flat shoes as possible, i like my height, but for me to be taller would only bring loads of practical problems and discomfort.

I recently invested in a pair of lifts as a little experiment to see how it helps with my posture. They were surprisingly comfortable and when worn with my boots they prop me up to ~6'2. No complaints from me :)

I know this might sound strange, but I'm 6'8 and 3/4" and I like to occasionally wear lifts in my boots so that I can stand a little over 7 feet tall. I don't do this every day, but I get a charge knowing that I can look at the world from over the 7 foot mark. I can totally relate to BigRob on this. I understand feeling that "buzz" he's talking about.

Dam! the next best thing would be for you to find a shorter guy to stand really really close so he has to look way way up at you...lol

Hey Big Rob, I would like to know more about the lifts and shoes. I am 5-11 and just want to get that extra inch. I am very technophobic. How do we chat privately?
